What is the blouse you are wearing in the first photo? It's very pretty.

I recognize the other items from my last trip at JC.

Thanks! Oh, another cotton/silk blend! I will check it out on my next trip to JC. BTW, I got my Jaipur shirt and it is beautiful.

What did you think of the pieces? Did you like the Pamilla skirt? Did you buy any of the pieces? Love your blog!

Thanks, Lizzy.
I really liked all of them.
Yes, I bought both skirts. I buy all pencil skirts from jcrew (except from the last release with shorter length).
I liked Pamilla skirt a lot; it’s a beautiful piece for going out. Of course, I couldn’t decide on which size to buy. All my skirts are 2-4. This skirt in sz 2 is more body hugging and makes me look too curvy – you know what I mean. Size 4 is a little too big in the waist area. The cut is very similar to last year tweed oona, sapphire skirt (http://simplyjcrew.blogspot.com/2009/09/sapphire-tweed-pencil-skirt.html), which I returned…
The second skirt runs TTS and has excellent cut and interesting fabric – another great execution from JCrew. I got sz4 – it was easy.
Pilar paisley perfect shirt – love it! Couldn’t commit to a size and had to buy both sizes 2 and 4.
It looks quit plain on the hanger, but when I put it on – I really liked silky, soft, "expensive" looking fabric...
At some point I will buy this cardigan and calista cami in dark rosewood.

I am loving the purple cami, especially your pairing it with that particular cardigan :) Also, since you seem to own many j crew pencil skirts, I was wondering how you keep them from shrinking?? Do you dry clean them all, handwash then line dry??

Chrissy,
Yes, I do dry cleaning. I just don’t want to take a chance…
